AT&T BlackBerry Bold Release Info

So it looks like AT&T has a more or less “solid” date for the release of the BlackBerry Bold.

• September 12, 2008 for $299
• October 2, 2008

The September release date and price was announced by Gizmodo and the October release date (no price) was announced by The Boy Genius Report. Apparently both have spoken to AT&T employees and claim that they are well informed about the Bold release info for AT&T.

I wonder which date it actually is? I mean, I would go with Gizmodo’s only because it’s a sooner date. I have no way of validating this information as of right now. If anyone out there has any idea I’d appreciate your input.
