Sona will provide the hardware, software, support and services necessary to sustain lawful and licensed mWager(TM) mobile account wagering to New Jersey residents of majority age under the supervision of the New Jersey Gaming Authority. Sona will provide its patent pending mWager(TM) mobile application integrated with the Scientific Games’ Trackplay(TM) wagering platform. The mWager(TM) interactive wagering platform includes owner, trainer and horse names, runner number, morning line, live current odds, scratches, race results, streaming video, race replays and the ability to securely place all wagers (win, place, show and exotic wagers) via a customer’s mobile device, including BlackBerry(R), iPhone and Windows Mobile(R) cellular phones. Sona has once again partnered with The Jockey Club Technology Services, Inc. to provide hosting, 24/7 managed services, and data communications for the mWager(TM) interactive wagering platform. The Trackplay(TM) interactive wagering platform provides complete wagering functionality and account funding services and has been in operation in both the US and abroad since 2001.
Pretty interesting since I live in New Jersey. I rarely see such news and New Jersey in the same article.
