BlingBall 0.9 Beta 1 – ColorPearl for your OS 4.5 8100!

A little while back I posted this: Want ColorPearl for 4.5 on 8100?

Guess what…Rgeorge came through! He has created a version of ColorPearl which he has called BlingBall. Catchy name! My congratulations to you Rgeorge. You will make many people happy with this application.

Here is the info from where he posted it on BlackBerryForums:

WARNING: This is for the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 with 4.5 OS only. This application is only supported on 4.5 OS. Some have reported that it does, in fact, work in OS 4.2, though. This application will do nothing for you if you have an 8110, 8120, or 8130 as those devices do not have the polychromatic trackball.

NOTICE: This application is beta and has only been tested on a very small number of devices.

From what I’ve read, it is working pretty well for everyone. There is a desktop download available also, for that go to the BlackBerryForums thread.

I encourage making donations if you are happy with the application. I’m sure he spent a good deal of time creating this.
