AT&T Hating on the Storm

According to an article I just read, AT&T has released an “anti-Storm sales guide.” Whats the matter AT&T, afraid of a little competition from Verizon? Or is it that the BlackBerry Storm will outperform the iPhone with what matters.
Or maybe they’re being overconfident about their precious iPhone and just trying to beat down the Storm. Well guess what AT&T…the iPhone will never make it as a true and fully capable smartphone. The iPhone has nothing on the BlackBerry, and the Storm will prove just that.
I’m a student at a state university, and I’ve only seen a few iPhones here and there. I’ve seen a lot more BlackBerries though. Will you ever see more iPhones than BlackBerries on a college campus? I highly doubt it. Know why? Because the iPhone is just a hyped up media “smartphone” and nothing more. Ok so you can download more games on your iPhone than I can on my BlackBerry (which isn’t true), where and are you really going to play those games? In class, at home, or at work? In class you shouldn’t be playing games (although some of us do
), at home you probably have gaming consoles or a computer, and at work…well, you have to work!
Of course, many people are now buying the iPhone as a second device…a “leisure” device. There’s no problem with that at all. Once the BlackBerry Storm comes out, you won’t need that extra leisure device.
Does AT&T really think RIM is going to keep what they offer for their BlackBerry users the same? No…they’re going to make it better!
Anyway…here’s the article I read:
