Microsoft Eying RIM?

I’m a little late with this bit of news…but I hope I made up for it with the picture . If you have no idea what’s going on in the picture, check out the “Leave Britney Alone” YouTube video.

According to Peter Misek:

“RIM is a massive strategic fit [for Microsoft]. I’m fairly certain they have a standing offer to buy them at $50 [a share]“

Mark McQueen says:

“If you did a stock and cash deal, you wouldn’t need to tap the credit markets. The people I’ve talked to who deal with institutional investors every day say they would look at this as a gift.”

Not cool Microsoft. Leave RIM alone!
