On November 22, 2008, Virgin America will be beta testing their first WiFi enabled plane over San Francisco. They have partnered up with YouTube to bring the “first-ever live, air-to-ground video-stream” which will get an estimated 20 million viewers. Ok…20 million viewers to watch people play with WiFi on a plane? It’s awesome but come on
.
Virgin America plans to start upgrading their planes with WiFi one per week in late November till their entire fleet is WiFi enabled late in 2009.
Where are the rest of the airlines at?
