Bell to match Telus’ $99 smartphone plan

The fact that matching a $99 plan is being seen as great is kind of ridiculous to me. I mean it’s great that the initial plan price is being lowered to $99, but I don’t think I would deal with that big a bill. I’m on T-Mobile
. Bell will be matching Telus’ smartphone plan just in time for the holidays and the release of the BlackBerry Storm. Here are some plan details:
- 1,000 daytime minutes (unused airtime from Bell rolls over to the next month)
- Unlimited evenings and weekends after 9pm
- Call display
- Voicemail
- Unlimited SMS
- Unlimited email and data
- Unlimited BlackBerry Messenger and IM
