GO Mobile and RIM introduce the BlackBerry solution to the Maltese market

2 December, 2008 – Emitac Mobile Solution (EMS), GO Mobile and Research In Motion (RIM) (Nasdaq: RIMM; TSX: RIM) today announced the launch of the BlackBerry® solution in Malta. GO Mobile customers will now be able to enjoy the benefits of enhanced communications and increased productivity by using a Blackberry® smartphone to access email, browse the web, make phone calls, send and receive text and picture messages and keep organized, as well as access a wide variety of business and leisure applications while on the move.
At launch, GO Mobile will offer the BlackBerry® Bold™, BlackBerry® 8800 and BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8120 smartphones to the Maltese market. All three BlackBerry® smartphones will be available from GO and GO Mobile outlets across Malta and Gozo. To support this new range of BlackBerry® smartphones, GO Mobile will also offer powerful BlackBerry® services that will enable easy wireless access to email, Internet, multimedia and other lifestyle applications including instant messaging and social networking.

BlackBerry® Bold smartphone

The BlackBerry® Bold comes with a newly enhanced, high performance browser and high resolution, ultra-sharp display giving users an on-the-go web browsing experience with desktopstyle depiction. Using its trackball, which mimics a mouse, users can easily navigate sites or zoom in on specific parts of a web page, while various emulation settings allow users to choose between the full desktop-style HTML content and layout or the mobile version.
BlackBerry® 8800 smartphone
This elegant smartphone includes a full, highly tactile QWERTY keyboard with a range of powerful features including built-in GPS, media player and an expandable memory slot. BlackBerry® Internet Service is designed for smaller businesses and individuals. It allows customers to access up to 10 supported corporate and personal email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts such as, Yahoo! Mail and Google Mail) from a single device.
