T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900 pricing info, Jan 19 pre-order date confirmed!

*UPDATE* My source received an order number confirming pre-order availability for business customers and employees. No word on shipping yet, but will keep updating. It’s almost here!

*UPDATE* Just got another update. My source was able to place a preorder, but the ship date is unclear because Curve 8900s aren’t at their distribution center yet. It was also mentioned that the 8900s will not be shipped later than January 26, 2009, but they could possibly be received earlier by those who get preorders in if they get to the distribution center before Jan 26. Was anyone else able to get a preorder in?

*UPDATE* Marc just left a comment below saying that he is a corporate customer and was able to already order his BlackBerry Curve 8900! He was told to expect to get it by January 26, 2009. Has anyone else tried calling and ordering if you’re a corporate customer?

*UPDATE* There seems to have been some confusion as to whom these prices are for. These prices are meant for corporate users, but according to my source, non-corporate users in most cases get the same prices minus the one year renewal option. Hope that clears it up a little.

Just got some pricing info for the T-Mobile BlackBerry Curve 8900!

Check it out:

  • Corporate Customers:
    $499.99 MSRP
  • 2 YR Agreement
    $300 instant rebate
    - $199.99
  • 1 YR Agreement

Nice! Not too bad at all. The email I received also confirmed that the pre-order date is  going to be January 19, 2009.

Be sure to keep an eye on:

Thanks Eje!

Any idea when this will be available on AT&T, if at all?

The $199 price is the same as the 3G Bold & Storm, it should be priced $20-$50 less for 2G.
  • This is one BlackBerry I've been excited about and have been following for some time now. It was great to find all this information in just one post. I have a few BlackBerry's on AT&T, and on my T-Mobile service just an original Pearl. I'm looking to sport the 8900 for T-Mobile!

Looking forward to more info and the release date. Thanks Mauricio, I haven't had time to follow up on all the BlackBerry News recently.

My company is having no luck getting preorders. Our TMO sales rep says he has none in his system. A store employee called us yesterday and we were able to put in an order for two 8900s, but two minutes later he called back and told us that his supervisor cancelled our orders. What gives?
