Hastings has released AppleBerry v0.8.8 for the BlackBerry Storm. Originally only one version, hastings has created three other versions of AppleBerry all of which are available for FREE!

Changes:

• Fixed “techno” font that was above the Browser, Task list, etc.
• Increased menu font size. (Highly requested)
• New signal strength bar.
• New Voicemail icon.
• Adjusted PictureID location during Active Call.
• Minor font adjustments throughout, should be clearer to see dates and times.
• On AppleBerry 8, moved from 9 appointment view to 8. This allowed for a bigger “touch area” to get to your App menu easier.
• Other minor adjustments.

Hastings added a short bio which I thought was worth sharing:

I’m a stereotypically broke University student who spends half his day with his head in a book, and the other half with his head in Photoshop. I’ve been in graphic design since I was 12 years old, completing my first website in Notepad around this time as well. I’m not doing this theme to make a quick buck, but rather to give something back to my fellow Crackberry enthusiasts who don’t find it weird that I’d rather stay at home on a Friday night and design than go out to a bar. (=

This theme is FREE! It will always be free, occasionally I treat those who have donated to me with something special like a limited release version of AppleBerry or an early update released days before it goes public. This isn’t to get more donations, it’s just to say thank you to those that have. I really am truly appreciative of each and every dollar in donations I receive. That being said, my studies are my main priority and as such updates make not be as quick as you like, and I may not be able to implement every change that is requested or respond to every comment made.
