This sounds like just the solution I have been looking for! I came to the Bold from Windows Mobile using ActiveSync with a Hosted Exchange Server 2007 for my personal and business mail.

When I transitioned over to the BB OS, I just could not get myself to spend the extra money for BES and then have to turn around and pay 4smartphone another $49 setup fee on top of the monthly rate. I'm just a single physician in private practice and it didn't make good business sense.

If this solution pans out, it will allow me the OTA PIM sync features I missed, and no monthly fees (I hope).

As good as this sounds, I'm concerned that no price point has been posted, and the call I placed to the sales dept. yesterday has not yet been returned, so I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I'm also somewhat annoyed that companies are still presuming to release products that don't allow for a demo period. I'm supposed to pay xyz dollars for a product on their sayso, without the benefit of a trial to determine whether it would be the right app for me. This is the biggest gripe that I have with Apple's iTunes apps!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one, though.
