Free game: BBTetris renamed BlockBerry, updated to version 5.4!

* UPDATE This version does not replace the old BBTetris. You have to manually delete BBTetris from your Options>Advanced>Applications menu. *

The last time I mentioned this free Tetris game for BlackBerry it was named BBTetris and was at version 4.2. Since then it has been renamed BlockBerry (very nice!) and is now at version 5.4!

From the changelog:

v5.4
-Changed app name to “BlockBerry”
-Blocks can be adjusted after a fastdrop
-Lowered sound volume slightly on one song to equalize the 3 songs better.

-Increased Trackball sensitivity options to address downscroll sensitivity

v5.2
-(FIXED) Several collision issues fixed
-(FIXED) Block speed is a more consistent increase at higher levels
-(FIXED) Blocks getting stuck at the top of the screen
-(FIXED) Game ending abruptly on 83xx
-Updated visuals
-Increased performance
-Fast Drop is instant
-Trackball click starts a new game if one isn’t running
-Changed the starting rotations of some of the pieces

-(FIXED) Blocks repeatedly spawning at the end of a game and possible crash scenario

The 8900 5.5 version offered in the link does not appear to be working properly on my device. I have had all of the previous versions, and all worked well, but now the right half of the screen is cut off!! I don’t know if the correct version is attributed to the correct link, but I would appreciate some assistance from the developer to obtain a working version. I have already deleted my previous version for this one, and I miss the game so much now. Please help.

Yes, the correct version is dependent on which BB you have.

Does anyone know hoe to turn the sound off??
In some places it is kind of anoying to play and make people listen to the songs…

If your BlackBerry is set to vibrate and you launch BBTetris an option to start the game without sound should pop up. It should also be available in the application's options.

is there a link or a way to dl v5.4 without using OTA? bc i don't have internet service on my BB curve 8320 so OTA downloads don't work for me… and the game looks too cool to pass up!
