BlackBerryOS forums moderator “BlackberryOS” claims to have gotten an email from a senior-level Verizon employee with information that the BlackBerry Storm 2 could be released as early as this month!

According to this insider, Verizon employees have been training with the Storm 2 all last week. She also mentioned that the Storm 2 will have Wi-Fi!

No confirmed date right now but she did say it will be out soon, the latest being the end of June.

If this in fact true, its prob to take away some of the thunder (no pun intended) of the new iPhone 3.0 and Pre which is supposed to come out in June.

Makes it difficult now. My contract is up in June and I am torn between Storm and iPhone3.0. Hopefully this is a true date for the Storm2 and my decision will be easier.
