If your periodontal disease or tooth decay is so bad that you really NEED to have all of your teeth removed, you can have it done, wait 3-4 months for the bone to remodel itself during the healing process, then have the first set of impressions taken for your denture fabrication. If you don’t wait long enough, the dentures will need to be relined. This is because when the teeth are removed, there is no reason for the bone to be there, and it is broken up and recommissioned elsewhere in the body for the calcium and phosphorus it contains. Otherwise, dentures can be made to be placed immediately after the teeth are extracted. When you go this route, expect to pay additional fees to have the dentures relined, and possibly remade, after healing occurs. I hope this helps. Good luck.
