My buddies over at Themes4BB got some insider info that the BlackBerry Tour will be coming to Sprint some time in November or December of this year, with the model number 9650!

Here are the known specs (so far):

  • Wifi
  • Optical Trackball
  • 3G where available
  • 3.2-MP auto-focus camera with geo-tagging functionality – easily identify where you took your pics.
  • MicroSD™ card slot supports up to 16 GB 32GB (thanks @n8d!) – images, MP3s and apps are always at hand
  • 5.0 OS

Not sure if this is meant to be a replacement or in addition to the Tour 9630 yet…

Any Sprint subscribers excited?

    Hey sprint guy. Im not sure if just want people to go out and buy the Tour right now or if you don't even realize that the phone mentioned in the article is completely different from what sprint has out right now.

    the optical trackball is on the 8530. the rumored 9650 is the exact same as original tour but with wifi.
