Not Everyone Is Happy With The BlackBerry Storm 2 9550 (Video)

As much as we all like hearing about how awesome an unreleased BlackBerry is, it’s good to have an objective point of view (or just different) also. In this video, Phone Arena gives the BlackBerry Storm 2 (9550) some praise but also points out some negative factors.

The technology is improving greatly but at the same time, we just don’t see us enjoying it even if it’s working perfectly. We’ll reserve our final judgement for when the production unit comes out. However, we’re not sure that the Storm 2 is going to be that much better; and again, we don’t know that we like that technology even if working perfectly…that it will be worth it.

Remember that this preview by Phone Arena is based on a pre-production unit, in which case they might have just gotten a bad apple. Check out the video for more details.

Keeping this preview in mind (and other Storm 2 info), what do you think the production unit will be like? Do you agree or disagree with Phone Arena when they say it might not be worth it?

im ok with the bugs reported as this is a prototype, but the bashing was pushing it a bit. On the other hand, I cannot type on an iPhone screen as there is no feedback, and I much prefer the Storm feedback. So i am ok if other people like the iPhone (its is obviously a popular phone) and that they dont like the click screen of a Storm. Please RIM, make sure you can disable the click screen in order for the Storm to please everyone.
