bbrocks first bday BBRocks! Birthday Contests Winners Announced!

Last Monday BBRocks! celebrated its first birthday by having a whole bunch contests with some awesome giveaways as a thank you to all our readers. It took a lot longer than I expected but I was finally able to finish the random selection process for all comment entries left before 11:59PM EST last night. Check out all the contests and winners after the jump. All winners can expect a message from me soon with either the code to get your free BlackBerry software or asking for your shipping info if you won a product.

Many of you participated in multiple contests, some of you actually won in multiple contests ;-) . Big thanks to everyone who participated and told their friends about BBRocks! We’ll have some more giveaways in the near future…

    I know everyone is asking about when they will receive their products but I was contacted for my shipping address a while back for winning the Otter Box case and I didn't hear back to confirm anything or receive the case. Just making sure I wasn't lost in the shuffle. Thank you.

    Hmmm...I'm listed as winning three things but haven't received any emails or such???!!!???
    And one is the Micro USB car charger which you MUST need to mail/ship to me and I've had no request for my shipping address...???

    Cool. I'm not at all a fan of this DISQUS thingy and I don't do Facebook or Twitter so I wasn't sure if I'd done something wrong in creating an account from which to post comments.

    Oh, speaking of posting comments, there's something broken with either the site or DISQUS when using IE8 on Win7. It does not seem to remember the DISQUS login between reading one post and the next. In order to enter all the contests, I would have to do the DISQUS login at EACH POST for which I wanted to comment. Painful.
  • That's not good. I'll let the disqus team know about this.

    If you didn't use an email to leave your comment I am going to ask you for it, just in case. I need emails to process winnings.

    Same goes for those who used Twitter. Facebook is ok because I can send a message through Facebook.
