RIM has just released version 3.0 of their BlackBerry Media Sync desktop software with the following features and updates:

• Improved UI
  • New overall product layout
  • Fewer pop-ups
  • Improved memory usage via memory meter
  • Ability to view songs in playlists in side-pane
• Two-Way Photo Sync Support
  • Synchronize and optimize photos from a computer to a BlackBerry smartphone
  • Alerts BlackBerry smartphone user when new photos are available to import from BlackBerry smartphone to a designated folder in My Pictures when connected to a computer
  • Video camera featuring Normal mode (320 x 240) or MMS mode (176 x 144)
  • Backup of BlackBerry smartphone pictures
  • Support for multiple picture formats
  • Preview full-size pictures
