Free Version Of Gwabbit To Be Available In The BlackBerry App World Next Week [Application]

Gwabbit dropped me an email letting me know that a free version of their BlackBerry application will be made available unfortunately exclusively through the BlackBerry App World next week.

For those who aren’t familiar with it, gwabbit automatically scans incoming BlackBerry emails, finds contacts and offers you the option to either saving a new contact or update an existing contact if different information is found. The free version will include a new alerting feature that will inform contacts via email when their information has been saved to a friend’s address book using gwabbit.

When I have more info about the free version I’ll post another update. For now you can check out and try gwabbit in the store. It’s available for a yearly subscription of $9.99 with a free trial.

Note: gwabbit told me that their application is compatible with OS 5.0 even though it is not listed as being compatible. I’ve already emailed them about this.
