According to a monthly user survey by comScore, 36 million Americans own a smartphone while around 196 million own a “non-smartphone”. As of October, RIM leads the U.S. smartphone OS market share with close to 15 million users while while the followup brand, Apple, only has close to 9 million. The surveys are based on the responses of U.S. mobile subscribers over the age of 13.
And here I was thinking the race was a close one. I should have known I was wrong
. After all…BlackBerry rocks. Congrats RIM!
