Tweeteev has been constantly pushing back their BlackBerry Twitter application launch with promises of launching soon, around the corner, next month, etc. Their latest update about its release:

Tweeteev for Blackberry is around the corner, really, we just took much more time to fine tune the app. Tweeteev BB Alpha is amazing…

Now I don’t normally press developers, but if you say you’re publicly launching in September then maybe you should. While Tweeteev continues to release their application other Twitter apps are gaining popularity and a strong user-base. I’m wondering what’ll happen when Tweeteev is actually released. If it will in fact be a “disruptive” client and “amazing” like the alpha apparently is then maybe they’ll be fine.

@ilan of Tweeteev put together the blurry video above demoing the app on a BlackBerry Bold 9700. I’ve seen so many commercials of that Flip Video camcorder and according to this video the quality isn’t all that great. Unless of course it was done on purpose as a teaser instead of a detailed demo video. Who knows.

What do you guys think? Is anyone still looking forward to trying Tweeteev?
