Iconify For BlackBerry Public Beta v0.8.3 Create Web, Dial & MailLink Icons On Your Homescreen [Application]

Matthias, developer of the popular BlackBerry application known as FileScout, has released a new app as a public beta. The new app is called Iconify and, at version 0.8.3, allows BlackBerry users to create icons on their homescreens for web pages, dial a number, send an SMS, PIN, email and more.

Iconify is available for all BlackBerry devices running OS 4.3 and higher. Matthias is asking for feedback to help improve Iconify while it’s in public beta. To download Iconify v0.8.3 click here from your BlackBerry Browser or visit the emacberry product page for a full feature list and tutorial.

Tried this software out, it does put an icon on your home screen for the Contact you selected. However i showed a very generic icon that has nothing to do or looks nothing like a phone Contact. Tried to add a custom Picture, same thing same generic icon. It did function as described, jsut the icon issue for me.
Beta is a 14 day trial not an unlimited beta version. Did also seem to slow my phone down after the install.
