Not even a few days have gone by since Sergey Demyanov updated his Fancy Characters BlackBerry app and already a new version is available with some significant changes. The last update included larger smileys view, sticky mode and BlackBerry Storm optimization. Version 2.4 includes the following changes:
- Fixed Storm Virtual keyboard support
- Fixed crash on 9700 and Tour (OS 5.0)
- About 50 additional Unicode symbols
- More math symbols
- Configurable buttons background color
- Blackberry Backup Support (no need to reenter code on OS upgrade)
Fancy Characters is available for all BlackBerry devices running OS 4.2.1 or higher. You can pick it up in the store for $1.49. A free trial is available if you’d like to try it before you buy it.
