A moderator over at the T-Mobile Forums recently updated a thread about an upcoming OS update for the BlackBerry Bold 9700. The thread update says that a new OS is a maintenance release and will be available on May 18th. Here are the fixes and changes in this version:
- Increase general stability for the software
- New separate icon for BES e-mail
- Improvements to chat view SMS user interface
- Improved BlackBerry Messenger client
- General Visual Voicemail improvements
- Resolve 3G dropped call issue
- Mobile Backup support
- Improvements to TrackPad performance
There’s no mention of this OS’ application version yet but if you’re a T-Mobile customer who’s been waiting for an official release be sure to visit t-mobile.com/bbupgrade on May 18th. If you want the latest and greatest (which this OS might not be), check out the BBRocks! OS Page.
