Theme developers rejoice! RIM today released Service Pack 1 (SP1) for the BlackBerry Theme Studio 5.0 desktop software. I guess everyone should be happy about this release since we will all benefit from new themes for new BlackBerry devices . New in SP1:

• Create themes for new BlackBerry smartphones.
  You can create themes and dynamic content for the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Series, BlackBerry Pearl 9105, BlackBerry Bold 9650, and the BlackBerry Curve 8910 smartphones.
• Receive a notification when a new version of the BlackBerry Theme Builder is available to download.
  A notification appears on the Quickstart screen when a new version of the BlackBerry Theme Builder is available. You can click the link to go to the download area.
• Navigate to the signal indicator on the Home screen in a custom theme layout for the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Series smartphone.
  You can customize the movement of the cursor so that it moves to or from the signal indicator on the Home screen banner if you create a custom theme layout for the BlackBerry Pearl 9100 Series smartphones.
