Full Launch Of Twitter For BlackBerry Starts Tonight With Support For 7 More Languages!

The official Twitter for BlackBerry application is quickly becoming one of the most popular Twitter apps used by BlackBerry owners.  RIM let us know that Twitter for BlackBerry will be going out of beta with a full launch starting tonight! The released version will add support for more languages including Portuguese EU, Japanese, Indonesian, Russian, Turkish, Dutch, Korean. Here’s a recap of its features at launch:

• Push Notifications for Direct Messages
• Timeline Support
• Following and Followers
• Posting, Sending, Deleting , Replying and Retweeting Tweets
• User/Saved/Keyword/Proximity Search

Some of the new features added during the beta include the ability to quote tweets, auto complete for usernames, view photos from Yfrog & TweetPhoto, view geotagged tweets, personal info guard, hotkeys for navigation and reporting spam. The full launch version will also feature the ability to access any user’s profile from anywhere in the application using auto-complete functionality for followers.
