RIM Employee Spotted With A BlackBerry Bold 9800 Slider, Says Launch Pushed To November

Rumors of the launch for the BlackBerry Bold 9800 slider have for the most part pointed at an August/September release. According to CB Forums member goblue and his recent run in with a RIM employee, the launch might be pushed back to November:
A few weeks ago I was at my kids event and saw some person sporting a slider….no big deal I thought until I saw him slide it and saw the BB Logo….I asked him it that was the new BB Slider and he yep. Played with it a few, it was running 6.0. No idea what build. He basically said this would be out in November. I asked how he had and he is in public relations for RIM here in Chicago. I was a huge BB fanboy and if I had not gone Android, I would be **. The UI was nice, very smooth and FRIGGIN Fast. Again, I mean no disrespect, I can not answer any questions, just here to say those that are staying BB will definitely enjoy.
If that’s the case I really hope it doesn’t launch on AT&T in November for the rumored exclusivity period. Taking this info into consideration, if BlackBerry OS 6 is to launch by the end of September like RIM co-CEO Jim Balsillie said it would, we could be looking at a launch somewhere between September and November.
I know I’m pretty disappointed at this new launch date. Anyone else a little taken aback?
