While many BlackBerry users are waiting for devices to launch, OS version to leak, etc, BlackBerry theme developers need a good leak too! Thanks to Alessio from Mobistack, we now have over 1000 official BlackBerry 6 icons. Alessio let me know that he was able to get his hands on an unreleased BlackBerry 9670 (the new flip), extracted the BlackBerry 6 default theme icons and decided to make them public in one big download through BBRocks!

Everyday BlackBerry users won’t have much use for these icons and images but I’m sure theme developers will have a field day with them. At least until RIM officially releases the BlackBerry 6 theme development SDK, that is. If you’re not a theme developer you can always just browse through the images to get a preview of the new OS.
