The official WordPress app for BlackBerry smartphones has been updated to version 1.4 with some new features and bug fixes. Changes in version 1.4 include:

• New features:
  • Easier sign in process
  • Added support for HTTP authentication on password-protected self-hosted blogs
  • Improved the app’s ability for bug reporting and feedback
  • The file browser now remember the last opened folder
• Bug fixes:
  • issue when modifying the properties of a picture attached to a post
  • startup issue on the splash screen that causing the app freezing
  • issue on the Stats view when a post title contains more double quote characters

While WordPress’ blog post about the update says it’s only available in the BlackBerry App World, the original blackberry.wordpress.org/download link still works and has separate links according to device and OS version. Check it out and let us know what you think of the update!
