Yesterday RIM and AT&T announced the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and it looks like they’ve got a good amount of buzz going because “BlackBerry Torch” started trending yesterday and still is today!
RIM has gotten some of negative coverage by certain websites where they don’t think the Torch will help, saying things like it’s over hyped and underwhelming. I’ve said it before and Mike Lazaridis said it himself, RIM is just getting started with the announcement of the Torch and BlackBerry 6. While some are saying the Torch is evolutionary and not revolutionary (which I can agree with to a point), I don’t think anyone should write them off just yet. They are, after all, still on top.
Let’s see how long we can keep BlackBerry Torch trending on Twitter for RIM!
