Earlier today I posted about Facebook for BlackBerry version 1.8.0 being available as a “carrier preview” in the Beta Zone. Soon after mentioning it, RIM removed Facebook 1.8.0 from the Beta Zone claiming it was a mistake. Fortunately, some very vigilant individuals spotted Facebook for BlackBerry version 1.8.0.49 in the App World, downloaded it, extracted the files and have made it available as an OTA download! According to lyricidal, no keycode is needed for version 1.8.0.49, probably because it was supposed to be the official release.
