The ÜberTwitter BlackBerry Twitter application today received a small update to version 0.988 with a number of important fixes. The recent update to version 0.985 also included a bunch of fixes, improvements and some new features. Today’s update, dubbed Beta 8 Release 3, includes the following changes:
- Fixed several items that were responsible for consuming excessive amounts of CPU
- Resolved the ‘ref out of range’ message that appeared on some 4.7 OS devices when trying to start UberTwitter
- Included additional parameters such that some devices on BlackBerry Enterprise Servers will now work smoothly for the authentication process
- When viewing lists that compose an UberChannel, or on the list search results screen we moved the title from right side of uberbar to the top bar, making it more readable
The ÜberTwitter team highly recommends updating to this version and will be turning on the auto-update feature later tonight. As a reminder, ÜberTwitter is available as a free ad-supported version or a $4.99 ad-free version. Also, according to the download page, BlackBerry OS 6 is now supported!
