LinkedIn announced through the mobile group that they’ve released version 1.2 of their BlackBerry application. Here’s some info about the changes:
We’ve just released an update focused on performance, battery life and resolving several issues our users were seeing with downloading connections. We made a number of changes to how we handle merging your address book with the BlackBerry Contacts application and other changes that should significantly reduce the battery life issues some users have reported.
The LinkedIn app is available for the BlackBerry Tour, Bold, Curve, Storm, Pearl all running OS 4.3 or higher. For more info go to linkedin.com/blackberry or for a direct OTA download go to m.linkedin.com/blackberry from your BlackBerry browser. The update should also show up in the App World within a few days.
