RIM has published a new web page where BlackBerry users can sign up for updates about BlackBerry Protect. The free remote tracking, backup, restore and wiping service has been in private beta in the BlackBerry Beta Zone for a few months now. Here’s a full list of features:

• Lock your smartphone to protect its contents
• Track the location of your smartphone
• Back up your data (contacts, calendar, etc.)
• Erase all data from your smartphone
• Activate a loud ring tone so you can find your smartphone
• Display a message on your Home screen
