Since I got my Torch the one thing I missed was a working version of SocialScope. I had to transfer SocialScope from my Bold 9700 and believe me when I say, it was not pretty. Thankfully the SocialScope team got around to updating their BlackBerry app to include support for BlackBerry 6 and the Torch 9800. Here are the rest of the changes for version 0.9.5.147:

• Swipe left and right to switch tabs
• When reading a message swipe left and right to switch message
• Double tap a tab icon to go to the top of the message list
• Search twitter from your home screen through universal search
• Go to your friend’s profiles from the home screen through universal search
• Crazy fast scrolling
• Super low battery usage

I know this app is still in private beta (for who knows how much longer) but I figured I’d mention this update for those of you lucky enough to be part of it, especially if you have a Torch. If you don’t yet have access to SocialScope I highly recommend signing up for an invitation at getsocialscope.com. You won’t get it right away but trust me, it’s worth the wait.
