I’m sure many developers are already working hard on their BlackBerry PlayBook apps, especially since they might get one for free when submitting them to the BlackBerry App World. If you’re having some problems developing your apps or have questions, RIM set up a series of five webcasts which will start tomorrow, November 4 at 2:00 PM EST / 11:00 AM PST. Tomorrow’s webcast will cover the following:
- Setting up your development environment
- Creating your first “hello world” Adobe AIR application for the BlackBerry PlayBook
- Packaging your Adobe AIR application for the BlackBerry PlayBook
- How to test your applications on the device simulator
- Live Q&A with experts from Research In Motion Limited and Adobe
This is the initial webcast in a five-week series to help you create compelling applications for the new platform. Every week we’ll cover new things and progress to more advanced topics as we move forward. Our goal is to make the development process as easy as possible, so you can qualify for the free BlackBerry PlayBook tablet offer.
