![]() | Rumor: BlackBerry 9900 Surfaces (Again) In Vodafone Inventory – Magnum/Dakota Still In The Works? |
Now here’s a model number we haven’t heard of in some time. According to a leaked screenshot sent to BestBoyz.de, a BlackBerry battery cover with the model number 9900 has popped up in Vodafone’s inventory systems. The 9900 was originally rumored to be a BlackBerry very similar to the Bold with hardware upgrades and a touchscreen. Earlier codenames for this device were the Magnum and Dakota but it was thought to have evolved into the Torch 9800. The 9900 popping up again makes you wonder if RIM is still working on the QWERTY non-slider touchscreen BlackBerry, or was it simply a typo?
What do you think? Two more screenshots from the Vodafone inventory below.
