I thought this bit of news deserved its own post even though it was part of RIM’s blog post for a developer webcast tomorrow. According to their post, Verizon Wireless will soon be officially releasing BlackBerry 6 for the Curve 3G 9330 and Bold 9650! Their exact words:
BlackBerry® 6 is coming soon to the BlackBerry® Curve™ 9330 smartphone and the BlackBerry® Bold™ 9650 smartphone from Verizon!
I’m not sure how soon “coming soon” is but we’ve heard some rumors which lead us to believe it could be around the corner, this “hidden” announcement acting as further confirmation. Anyone care to guess when Verizon might release OS 6.0?
