BlackBerry Messenger Version 5.0.2.12 Officially Available For Download!

It’s been a while since RIM released an update for the BlackBerry Messenger application but version 5.0.2.12 is now officially available for download. If you didn’t jump on the leaked BBM v5.0.1.49 or the Beta Zone’s BBM v5.0.3.13 you should definitely give this one a try since it’s not a beta. Highlights of BBM v5.0.2 include:

• Simplified sending of pictures and voice notes
• More user-friendly wording and organization in menus
• Support for a simpler, one line view of contact list
• Support for both deleting an unsent chat message (Shift-Del) and escaping out of a chat while retaining an unsent chat message (Escape button)
