It’s been a little over a month since we last saw anything for the rumored BlackBerry Monaco, also now called the BlackBerry Touch with another code name, “Monza”. Last we heard of this device was through a leaked live video with a rumored launch through CDMA networks like Sprint by the end of Q2 2011. Thanks to the team over at BGR we now have some new hands-on photos of this device. According to their info, the Monaco and Monza are the same except for the Monaco launching on Verizon and the Monza being a global GSM device. This device will also run the BlackBerry 6.1 OS and apparently, users will need a BlackBerry ID to login to the system, a vague detail that I’m sure we’ll hear more about soon.
BG is also claiming that RIM plans on announcing a bunch of leaked devices at the new BlackBerry World conference including the BlackBerry Bold Touch (Dakota), Curve Touch, Torch 2 and the Monaco/Monza. Check out a few more images of the BlackBerry Monaco/Monza below and let me know what you think in the comments!
