Now that the BlackBerry Mini Bluetooth Keyboard is out in the open thanks to the leaked sales associate retail training, I figured I’d go ahead and post a bigger photo of it. This keyboard is meant for the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet and according to someone I spoke with, the product in the photo above is not the final version. If you look at the photo you’ll notice a bar with a darker square near the bottom right of the keyboard. This is the mousepad and in the final version, it will be centered at the bottom of the keyboard like a regular laptop mousepad. The Mini Bluetooth Keyboard is also deceptively light so it won’t add that much weight when carrying it with the PlayBook.

RIM is also working on campatible accessories for this keyboard. One of them will be a case that allows you to attach the BlackBerry PlayBook on one side and the keyboard on the other so all you have to do is open the case, prop it up and start typing/touching away.
