BlackBerry Bridge hasn’t exactly had a smooth launch since it was released. It offers a bunch of great features for BlackBerry smartphone owners but unfortunately (thanks to AT&T), not everyone is able to use it yet. RIM did offer an official workaround to AT&T’s block and even updated the Bridge app to do the steps automatically but some users are still reporting issues.
Regardless of these issues, Bridge is an excellent app that BlackBerry using PlayBook owner should not be without. If you’re one of the lucky users with full access to Bridge on your device, RIM has posted up some useful tips on their Inside BlackBerry Help blog:
- Multiple email account support and folder browsing
- Customizing the Messages Application view
- Using the Search feature
- Opening Attachments and File Types supported by BlackBerry Bridge Files
- Adding images to your Contacts
