As many of you already know, BBM Music was recently announced by RIM and is now in closed beta. Even though it’s only accessible by current testers, BBM Music is now listed in BlackBerry App World with RIM Ecommerce as the vendor. The app is in the “Test Center” category along with a few of their other apps and apps from third-party vendors. Here’s a recap of some of the features according to the page in App World:
- With each friend that is added, you grow your music collection. Songs from each BBM Music friend are available to you at any time.
- The more friends who join your community, the more songs you can listen to.
- Easily discover music that your BBM Music friends are listening to, and comment on your friends’ songs and playlists.
- Up to 50 tracks from your personal profile are shared with your BBM Music Community.
- You can create multiple playlists from music in your profile as well as all of your friends’ profiles.
BBM Music is in closed beta but keep an eye on blackberry.com/beta for when it opens up to a bigger group of testers, or just wait for us to mention it here on BBRocks.com. For more info check out BBM Music in BlackBerry App World.
