    I downloaded this software update on Saturday night and it destroyed my phone – everything went haywire. Even Verizon could not write over the system with a wipe the card process to reload factory settings.  I am now waiting for my warranty replacement phone.  I would not download this update until they figure out what is wrong – I hear my experience was not an isolated problem.
