Blackberry related updates are grabbing attention like never before. Be they Blackberry fans, general folk, tech-analysts or critics – everyone is curious to know what exactly is this company up to now.

BB devoted fans are more interested in positive updates. They are literally dying to see this old company in its earlier avatar. As far as general folks are concerned, though they may appear neutral but little inquisitiveness is certainly there. Tech-analysts are, as usual, are busy in speculating many things, but it’s the critics that disturb Heins. These critics are not leaving any stone unturned in discouraging RIM’s spirit by portraying a gloomy image of the company.

RIM workplace is undoubtedly a veritable hive of activity these days. A lot is happening at RIM’s headquarters. From internal management change process to strategic turnarounds, things may appear upside down, but if a change is happening for RIM’s better future, then RIM’s CEO Thorsten Heins should not hesitate from allowing change to take place and that’s what he is trying to do.

Thorsten Heins is known for keeping a modest profile and he is a media friendly personality, but it seems that something is upsetting him lately. In his opinion editorial, he expressed his displeasure regarding the manner in which media is depicting RIM’s current position, making things more difficult for the organization.

He stated that RIM’s shareholders’ restlessness is justifiable, but RIM is very much capable of handling the current downturns and will certainly restore the faith of shareholders soon. It’s all a matter of time. He said that since tech-world is extremely dynamic, one can’t take anything for granted. He pointed out that RIM is currently going through major changes that shouldn’t be mistaken for an assumption that RIM is on the verge of giving up.

He may have wanted to remind critics of a maxim which rules over entire universe that ‘change is the only constant thing in this world’. Heins repeated that his clear focus is going to remain on upcoming BB smartphones, which are planned for first quarter release in 2013. This time, users will be surprise to find more than just connecting with each other. BB 10 upcoming elegant models will have numerous features in store.

He hinted that RIM is sprucing up next-gen BB 10 models in every possible manner. Right from innovative features to enhanced user-friendly experiences, BB 10 phones will mesmerize consumers like never before. Heins did highlight on RIM’s positive aspects – like a growing subscriber base, strong relations with leading global carriers, effective security offering, and sound financial position sans any debt. Heins knows that when it comes to a lay-off policy, it becomes difficult to justify this reluctant move in which RIM decided to lay-off almost about 5000 workers. But at the end of the day it’s all about bringing a company back on a sound track and that may require some tough decision making.

Heins also mentioned that he is really keen about infusing some fresh business ideas in his corporation and for that, he is hiring professionals who will help Heins in preparing some truly aggressive strategies.

Last but not the least; in his opinion editorial, Heins didn’t forget to express his gratitude towards BB loyal fans that comprise of worldwide consumers, carrier partners, developers, families, friends, and neighbors. There must be something about RIM’s classy blackberry which doesn’t let a consumer’s interest fade over time. No wonder why Blackberry still does hold a special place in fans’ hearts that are least bothered about other swanky little mobile phones.
