New reports which have emerged out about RIM are clearly indicating that RIM’s situation is not as black as it has been painted by critics so far. According to the latest reports, RIM’s market share witnessed an upward swing of 9% after the Blackberry maker announced that it is all set to entice mobile phone users by releasing BB 10 in the beginning of 2013.

RIM’s CEO and President, Thorsten Heins stated that the company has successfully cleared a testing phase conducted by various worldwide carriers and due to the same, the company is now capable of keeping its word and ensuring that upcoming BB 10 handsets release on pre-planned release schedule.

There is no doubt that success is such an aspect which can make up for any past loses. So, if BB 10 platform turns out to be a blockbuster then no one is going to recall about postponements made by RIM, which has been a major disappointment for millions of loyal BB fans and company’s investors. Heins also didn’t forget to mention that blackberry 10 smartphones have received thumbs up from leading carriers and are ready to win the confidence of users prior to release of their new phones.

After the release of BB 10 platform, it is quite evident that people are going to compare its experience with the user experience delivered by other sophisticated mobile phones and operating system of leading tech firms like Apple and Google. BB 10 OS is going to run on limited devices and will feature varied smartphone features including a superior camera, advanced web browser and an integration related to social networking. The software has been designed in such a manner that it will allow users to experience accessing emails in single swipe, and that too from any app. More than that, this next gen BB 10 software will allow user to switch automatically between corporate and personal modes. It is no exaggeration to say that company has tried to deliver a re-imagined experience of making mails accessible in an effortless single swipe.

RIM Sticks to 2013 Q1 Release Schedule Shares Witness 9% Increment Nevertheless, the battle is only half won since company needs to encourage app developers to develop superior apps and it also needs to lure corporate users to upgrade to new BB 10 models. Heins has revealed that though BB 10 will be compatible with Android apps but company hopes that more firms would like to design new software in a manner so that it can ensure an optimization of the potential offered by the BB 10 OS.

It is too early to celebrate the success and is not a prudent strategy to count one’s chicken before they are hatched. However, a 9% increment is truly impressive and it can’t be ignored completely because this minor increment is also good enough to boost morale of company’s top officials and investors.
