After introducing its flagship smartphone Z10 which was criticized for its sky high introductory price of Rs 43,990, BlackBerry is all set to roll out its new Q10 model in India on June 6. The official Twitter handle of Canadian smartphone manufacturer for India announced the arrival of BlackBerry Q10 in India and also posted an image of the QWERTY keyboarded touting Q10.
However, the smartphone pioneer, BlackBerry, has refrained from giving any hint related to the expected price tag of the model. Even though the price is not announced, the Q10 has already made entry on the e-commerce portals. You can place your order for the phone at Snapdeal, an e-commerce website, at a paltry sum of Rs 1000 as an advance payment. According to the various media reports, the Q10 can cost you anywhere between Rs 28,000 and Rs 30,000.
BlackBerry Q10 and Z10 were unveiled together but Q10 has been late in hitting the US and other major markets. The device has received positive feedbacks from users at Canada and UK where the device is already available for sale. According to market analysis, BlackBerry Q10 is enjoying huge sales in UK and Canada.
The Q10 boasts a 3.1 inch Super AMOLED touch screen with crystal clear 720 x 720 p resolution with superior pixel density of 328 ppi. The device runs on latest BlackBerry 10 platform that gives you amazing performance. The device has dual core 1.5 GHz processor along with 2 GB RAM and internal storage capacity of 16 GB which is extendable with a micro SD card of up to 64 GB. To save you from hassles of typing on a touch screen keyboard, BlackBerry Q10 has a QWERTY keyboard placed below the screen which has been loved and admired by BlackBerry users since its inception.
Q10 offers a wide range of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, 2G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 4G and micro USB 2.0.
The smartphone comes with an 8 mega pixel camera with flash as rear camera and 2 MP as front camera to ensure you never miss out on memories worth cherishing. Q10 also boasts of an amazing battery life with 2100 mAh battery capable of supporting up to 10 hours of talk time. BlackBerry has also come up with Q10 Battery Charger Bundle which goes a long way in helping you get rid of your battery life woes.
BlackBerry is toiling hard to regain its top slot in the race of smartphone manufacturers. It has introduced its new and upgraded platform by the name of BlackBerry 10 which it claims is faster than its predecessors. The Canadian smartphone manufacturer has also recently come up with EMI scheme for users planning to buy its curve 9220 and Z10 models in India to provide relief from exorbitant prices. However, a lot needs to be done as BlackBerry failed to figure in the top 3 slot of smartphone manufacturers in India.
