BlackBerry Help via Twitter
![]()
* UPDATE #blackberrysupport is now #blackberryhelp and/or #bbhelp. This change allows you to save characters when tweeting. Information and links below have been updated. Majority have voted that this be the universal hashtag to be used whenever anyone looks for BlackBerry support or help via Twitter. *
I started using Twitter as a way to update Twitter users about new articles on BlackBerry Rocks! After the first few weeks I decided to see what the hype was about, and I ended up becoming a BlackBerry addicted Twitter addict
.
I read a Tweet by @MissBeckala, who was obviously having complications with her BlackBerry Storm. I replied to her to help her, then we started emailing back and forth to help her get the latest OS for her Storm and sort everything else out.
I started the use of #blackberrysupport (now #blackberryhelp and #bbhelp) with MissBeckala so that others can use it and see how it works. Basically, if you need help with your BlackBerry and you’re on Twitter, just tag your tweet with #blackberryhelp or #bbhelp at the end. This way anyone who needs help can get it via Twitter from anyone who’d like to help, like myself and other BlackBerry users.
Click here to view and bookmark the combined #blackberryhelp and #bbhelp search, or click here for the search’s feed to subscribe to it.
Twitter is a huge community of people that like to share things in 140 characters or less. It might seem limiting at first, but you’d be amazed at how much can get done with only 140 characters. Even if it’s not enough, its a good way to start a conversation that can afterwards be taken off Twitter and continued through email (like I’m doing with MissBeckala).
