Adding and subscribing to a feed can be confusing for some, so I hope this makes it easier for anyone who uses Viigo. If you haven’t downloaded Viigo yet, what are you waiting for?! Download it by going to GetViigo.com from your BlackBerry Browser.
After you download Viigo you can find the BlackBerry Rocks! feed by going to Viigo >News & RSS > Open Menu > Add Channel > Technology > Gadget & Mobile News > BlackBerry Rocks!
If you would prefer using Viigo Alpha you can download it at GetViigo.com/alpha. Viigo Alpha is still in development so you may find some bugs, download at your own risk. I’ve had Viigo Alpha since I found out about it and I haven’t experienced any problems yet.

Just thought I’d let everyone know that you can now find “links” for your specific BlackBerry series’ Tips, User Guides and Safety Information in the BlackBerry Rocks! Mini Directory.
The following series can be found in the Mini Directory: 8100 Pearl series, 8200 Pearl Flip series, 8300 Curve series (includes 8350i), 8700 series, 8800 series, 8900 Curve series, 9000 Bold series, 9500 Storm series.
Even though only these are located in the Mini Directory, you can still find the Tips, User Guides and Safety Information for older BlackBerrys like the 7100 and 7200 series.
Here is how to find yours: Mini Directory > select BlackBerry series > scroll to specific BlackBerry model > Select either Tips, User Guide or Safety Information and you will be taken to the PDF file.
A quicker way would be to go directly to the Guides, Tips, Info page I set up, but I figured it would help with it also being in the Mini Directory.
All PDF’s are hosted by RIM at their Support > Documents pages, but I decided to put them all on one page for everyone’s convenience.

Just wanted to let everyone know that you can now find the latest official and leaked operating system for your BlackBerry in the BlackBerry Rocks Mini Directory!
I went through every article in the Operating System (OS) category and created specific sections for each BlackBerry series in either “Official Operating Systems (OS)” or “Leaked Operating Systems (OS)”.
I hope you all find this useful!
Please consider that leaked operating systems can be taken offline and become unavailable. Since most usually seek the latest official or leaked OS, this shouldn’t be a problem. I doubt someone would want to install an operating system from October of last year but you never know.

Found out about a cool commenting system called Disqus, figured I’d give it a try and see how it works here on BlackBerry Rocks!
Besides there being plenty of features for myself (publisher), there are also plenty of features for all of you (commenters)!
Track and manage comments and replies
Verified commenter reputations across sites
More control over your own comments on websites
Never lose your comments, even if the website goes away
Build a global profile, or comment blog, to collect and show off what you’re saying
Easier to comment on websites using Disqus
Reply to comments through email or mobile
Edit and republish comments with one click
Besides all that, you can also log in and leave comments using your Facebook account! You can still leave comments just by inputting your information (name, email, etc) if you don’t want to use Disqus or Facebook. Let me know what you think!

Last weekend I asked “What would you like to see more of on BlackBerry Rocks!” through Twitter, and actually got a few good responses.
The main thing seemed to be not being able to find themes, wallpapers, applications and games just for your specific BlackBerry model. I decided to put together a page dedicated to making it easy to find “Themes & Wallpapers” and “Apps & Games” just for your BlackBerry’s series.

Did you know you can easily share BlackBerry Rocks! content with your friends? Now you do!
Below each post in both the main view and the single post view there is a “Share This!” button that allows you to share the post with friends through services like:
Email
Myspace
AIM
Text
Twitter
Facebook
Digg
Delicious
Stumbleupon
Technorati
And more!
For example, if you find my My Fav Apps page interesting and you’d like to share it with a friend, simply hit the “Share This!” button at the top of the page to send it to them! For regular posts this button is located at the bottom, for pages the link is at the top.
This button has been on BlackBerry Rocks! for quite some time but I never mentioned exactly what it did. Since the button was recently updated with a whole new look and a few new features, I figured this would be the perfect time to mention it.
So now that you know exactly what the button does…start sharing!
I bet that’s annoying! Well now I’ve made it easier for all you BlackBerry Rockers to check out my social pages with “vanity urls,” thanks to Steve Coulson for the idea.
Here are the new links to all my social pages, and others like my feed and BB Shop:

* UPDATE Feedback about site redesign was pretty much negative, so it will be delayed until I can get a better design worked out. Thanks everyone for your suggestions and feedback! *
Just want to let everyone know that I am in the process of redesigning BlackBerry Rocks! I’m sure you noticed though .
I realize that the site may look weird in Internet Explorer right now, and I am working to fix this. It looks ok in Firefox minus some aligning.
I would greatly appreciate any feedback and advice about the site redesign and any problems you may find while browsing BlackBerry Rocks! Hopefully everything will be finished real soon.

If you haven’t noticed already, the BlackBerry Rocks! Mobile site has a new, optimized look.
Thanks to Alex King, the BlackBerry Rocks! Mobile Site supports basic mobile browsers as well as advanced and touch-screen browsers with a display optimized for each, like the BlackBerry Storm!
If anyone with a Storm can check it out and let me know how it looks to them, I would greatly appreciate it. If anyone else has feedback about the Mobile Site feel free to comment or send me a message.
I still have some tweaking to do with the BlackBerry Rocks! Mobile site, but let me know how you like it so far .

*UPDATE* My emails seem to be fully operational as of 11:18AM March 3, in case anyone tried to contact me. Delayed but working.
*UPDATE* If you’ve been sending me messages or emails and it got bounced back it’s because my email is not fully setup yet. I’m working to fix this.
Just wanted to let everyone know that BlackBerry Rocks! is back online.
Things might appear a bit weird at first until everything is finished getting tweaked, but for the most part everything should be ok now. Hopefully the changes made will prevent BlackBerry Rocks! from involuntarily going offline in the future.
