RIM is back with another great promo where BlackBerry users running a BlackBerry 7 OS can get free apps and games! The last time they had a promo like this was to apologize for a long outage last year, which they called Thank You Gifts. This time it’s just a thank you and “Compliments of BlackBerry” for using a BlackBerry 7 smartphone. One thing I did notice is that this promo seems to be targeted at the United States .

They also seem to be having a “Free For Your All-Touch BlackBerry Smartphone” promo. Apps included in this promo range in original price but include Aces 3D Pool, BeWeather, Easy Smiley Pack Pro, Endomondo Sports Tracker Pro, Fixmo Tools, iSpeech Dictation and FB Chat Pro, and a bunch more. Even if you don’t think you’ll use the apps, you should at least download them so they stay in your My World catalog for later. Just in case .

This week has so far been a great week for #TeamBlackBerry. The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet received the long-awaited OS 2.0 with a bunch of goodies as well as app updates for BlackBerry smartphones. To celebrate the release of PlayBook OS 2.0, RIM partnered up with Gameloft to offer two premium PlayBook games for free for a limited time. T-Mobile let me know they’re having a big sale to celebrate Valentine’s Day. It seems like RIM is looking to greatly increase its BlackBerry PlayBook user base with a sale on all models. According to the Shop BlackBerry website you can get the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB PlayBook tablets, each for only $299. RIM today release two more apps in the Thank You Gift category of BlackBerry App World. You can now get Nobex Radio Premium and Photo Editor Ultimate free of charge, Nobex originally $9.99 and Photo Editor Ultimate originally $1.99. Here are snippets of their descriptions:
